There are two factors why the issuance of your official receipt is sent late.
First, you made your transaction through remittance. There is a possibility that your payment is floating in the intermediary banks and not appearing in our bank. This causes a delay in the issuance of your official receipt since it might need further confirmation.
Second, you issued a dollar check. This is also one factor in the late issuance of your official receipt. The clearing of dollar checks in the bank takes 20-45 days, excluding our internal process.
For the above scenarios, please allot two (2) months' allowance before we can send your official receipt.
